OUR STORY

Hey there, welcome to Soapbayz, where we turn beer into soap and broken legs into business opportunities. It all started with our beloved Rescue Border Collie, Bailey, who thought chasing pigeons was a good idea, but ended up with a broken leg instead. We were faced with a massive vet bill and the possibility of Bailey never being able to chase pigeons again. But, we're not ones to just sit around and cry in our beer (although that's how we ended up making soap from beer in the first place), so we got creative.

Our founder, Lisa, stumbled upon an old recipe for Beer Soap in an old cookbook and thought, "Why not give it a go?" And let me tell you, it was a huge success. Not only did it help pay for Bailey's surgery, but it was also the best soap we've ever used, thanks to the beer. It's amazing how things can work out sometimes, isn't it?

We realized that not only is beer amazing in soap but it's also one of the most consumed beverages in the world, and it contributes to 0.6% of the world's Global Warming potential. So we decided to turn our passion for beer soap into a business that would help pay for Bailey's surgery and do our part in saving the planet, one bar of soap at a time.

We are all about using ethical and locally sourced ingredients, and environmentally-friendly packaging to reduce waste and carbon emissions. We also believe that beauty and skincare should be accessible to all, regardless of gender. That's why we support the LGBQTI community and strive to take gender out of the equation in our products, packaging, and society as a whole. Moreover, we are committed to ensuring that our ingredients are child labor free, because everyone deserves a childhood, no matter where in the world they come from.

We are also excited to partner with 4 Hearts Brewery to make use of waste products from the brewing process to create luxurious and delightful soaps that will make you feel like you're showering in beer, without the hangover. Every bar of soap is made with love by Lisa, Ian, and of course, Bailey (who's now back to chasing pigeons). And just like Bailey, our soaps are unique, resilient and full of character.

So, join us on our soap-making adventure, and feel good knowing that you're not only supporting a small business but also doing your part in saving the planet, one bar of soap at a time. All while supporting a gender-neutral, LGBQTI-friendly, and child labor-free business that smells amazing
