Our Ingredients

At Soapbayz, we are passionate about creating high-quality, natural products that not only benefit our customers, but also support sustainable and ethical practices. That's why we only use sustainably sourced shea butter from Ghana in our soap, which is a versatile and nourishing ingredient that has been used for centuries in African skincare. By sourcing our shea butter from Ghana, we are supporting local communities and ensuring that the harvesting of this valuable resource is done in a responsible and sustainable manner.

We are also committed to using ingredients that are not only good for the skin, but also good for the planet. That's why we have decided to avoid the use of nut oils or palm oil, which can contain harmful additives and have been linked to deforestation and habitat destruction. Instead, we use nourishing ingredients such as avocado oil and hemp oil to create a soap that is both effective and environmentally friendly.

That's why we use locally sourced beef tallow in our soap, which provides a rich, creamy lather that deeply moisturizes the skin. Beef tallow is a natural ingredient that has been used in traditional soap-making for centuries, and it is known for its nourishing and hydrating properties.

In addition to its skin benefits, we also use beef tallow because it is locally sourced and free from child labor practices. By using this ingredient, we are able to support local communities and ensure that our soap is made with ingredients that are not only good for the skin, but also ethically produced. Beef Tallow is a by-product of the beef production process, it’s a waste product & is therefore perfect for upcycling into soap!

We also add yoghurt and honey to our soap, which are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants and help to soothe and hydrate the skin. And, we are proud to use synthetic mica, which is made in a laboratory and is free from child labor practices, to add a beautiful sparkle and shine to our soap.

At Soapbayz, we believe in creating products that not only benefit our customers, but also support sustainable and ethical practices. By using sustainably sourced, locally sourced, and child labor-free ingredients, and avoiding the use of harmful or unsustainable ingredients, we are able to create soap that is not only good for your skin, but also good for the planet and the people who produce our ingredients.
